COACH FOR FORSYTHE BALLETS, COACH FOR »IMPROVISATION TECHNOLOGIES«

was born in Madrid- Spain where she completed her dance studies at the «Real Conservatorio Superior». She continued her studies for two years at the »John Cranko Ballett-Akademie« in Stuttgart-Germany and has learned Ballet Pedagogic from Kathy Bennets.
For two seasons she danced in «Musik theater im Revier» with the Choreographer Bern Schindowsky and then joined Ballett Frankfurt in 1980 whilst directed by Egon Madsen, performing repertoire of choreographers like John Cranko, Balanchine, Peter Wright, and Uwe Scholz. William Forsythe arrived to Ballett Frankfurt in 1982 as a guest Choreographer to become director in 1984 and she has worked with him since. She became soloist in 1987. William Forsythe created many parts for her in different ballets and she collaborated in the creation of several of them. During this period she worked as well with: Toni Rizzi, Amanda Miller Pascal Touzau, Jan Farbre, Mark Heim, Stephen Petronio, DanielLarrieu. She assist W. Forsythe in the composition of Ballets like: »Invisible Film« and «Four Point Counter», was production assistant in »Of any if and« and as a guest artist she stages different works of Mr. Forsythe in many main Companies. She also teaches his repertoire and improvisation technologies, as well as giving ballet class and choreographic composition at the Conservatorio Superior de Danza María de Ávila/Madrid, as well as other dance and performing arts schools around the world. She completed studies on Film animation and is a Master of Performing Arts. Pieces in her repertoire as a choreographer are: Equipoise, the secret bob, Fases inobservadas, 7 rasgos, Si quisiera no podría y sipudiera no quisiese, and other Dance educational projects like: Fist Steps, AnnaTanz, Tiento and Discordio.
